Dear Fellow Democrat

The development of a political machine capable of delivering the vote necessary to elect good Democrats to office in any district is a goal of the Fresno County Central Committee. Imagine sitting with us on inaugural day in January, 2009 and we are viewing the swearing in of the next Democratic President. Also imagine that the Election Results show that the voters of Fresno County voted overwhelmingly for Democratic candidates and Democratic Issues. This is my vision and this is the vision I want to share with you.

The Permanent Precinct Captain Program is a part of this political machine. Each County Supervisorial District has a "Leader Organization" which will support the Precinct Captains at the grassroots level.

The Voter Registration Projectwill register new Democrats around the County and at the monthly Immigration Naturalization Ceremony in Fresno, re-register individuals who are mistakenly Republican and those whose who are presently registered as Independents.

The Precinct Captains will harvest absentee ballots and get out the vote (GOTV) on election day.

We will reach out to organizations and people that are our natural allies. We will be working to foster our ideas, ideals, values, interests, demands and people.

Once again we will be respected.
